Visit the Springs, East Hampton studio of Lee Krasner, a pioneer of Abstract Expressionism. Her work moved from dense, small-scale "Little Image" paintings to bold collages made by cutting up and reworking her own earlier canvases and drawings, and later to large, sweeping abstract paintings. She shared the house with her husband Jackson Pollock and, after his death, moved into his barn studio, where the paint-splattered floor from both artists still survives. See her paintings, collages and works in progress, and hear about her process. Small group, casual conversation.

I'm a sculptor exploring the body, its representations, and the ambiguities of gender. My work draws on feminist and queer discourse to create forms that hold fragility and vulnerability alongside poetic force and active agency.
