About Moydi

Moydi is an artist platform built on a simple belief: that creativity deserves to be sustained, not just celebrated. We use technology to give artists the infrastructure they need to thrive connecting them with patrons, enabling new forms of income, and supporting their practice from studio to screen.

We're building a place where painters, sculptors, poets, performers, and mixed media artists can host their work, grow their audience, and earn a living doing what they do best. A place where patrons can go beyond simply admiring art — they can invest in it, access it, and be part of the creative process. Moydi is more than a platform. It's a new kind of relationship between artists and the people who believe in them.

Mission Statement

We're building a better world for artists using technology to support their artistic practice, unlock new revenue streams, and connect them with a community of patrons who value original work.

Founder

Krishna Prasad is a designer, technologist, and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience turning complex problems into human-centred products. Before founding Moydi, Krishna held lead design roles at Twitter, Microsoft, Vodafone, and Siemens, working across data platforms, privacy tooling, mobile services, and enterprise software. He has led design at Y Combinator-backed and other startups, built products used by millions.

Krishna holds a Master in Interaction Design from Umeå Institute of Design in Sweden and has executive education from Stanford Graduate School of Business. His work spans San Francisco, New York, and Europe, and his career has been defined by one consistent thread: a belief that great design can open up access, create clarity, and change how people experience the world. Moydi is the convergence of everything he has built toward a platform where technology serves artists.

Research Areas

Access: The art world has always had gatekeepers. At Moydi we research and build new pathways that open up access for artists at every stage: to information, tools, mentorships, and the relationships that move careers forward. Whether it's connecting emerging artists with experienced curators, linking practitioners with the right patrons, or surfacing expertise that was previously out of reach, Moydi believes that access shouldn't be a privilege — it should be a foundation.
Discovery: How does the world find an artist today? Through an algorithm, a referral, a chance encounter at an opening? Moydi is researching the mechanics of artistic discovery, mapping how artists get found, what creates visibility, and where the gaps are. Using new technology and data, we're working to understand and reshape the discovery journey so that great work reaches the people it's meant for, not just the people who already know where to look.
Independence: Financial independence is what allows an artist to keep creating. Moydi researches the full landscape of funding, grants, and income streams available to artists and builds tools that make those opportunities more accessible. From fractional investment and patron memberships to grants navigation and revenue diversification, we're working toward a future where artists can sustain their practice on their own terms, without compromise.

We are Hiring

Product Design Intern (New York Only - Onsite)

We're looking for a product design intern to join our small, fast-moving team. We are based in NY, SF & Bangalore. You'll work closely with our founder and engineers, shaping real product decisions, not pushing pixels in a vacuum. If you're drawn to the messy, exciting parts of building from scratch, this is for you.

Photography & Videography Intern (New York Only - Onsite)

We're looking for a creative intern with a sharp eye for both photo and video to join us in New York City. You'll help capture the story of our brand and community, from shoot concept through final edit. This is a hands-on role with real creative ownership.

Computer Vision, AI & Robotics Intern (New York / India)

We're building at the intersection of computer vision, AI, and robotics, and we're open to anyone who is passionate about any one of these three fields. You don't need to know all of them. If you care deeply about one and are curious about the others, we'd love to talk.

Software Engineer Intern, Full stack (New York / India)

We're looking for a full stack engineering intern to help us build and ship product across the stack. You'll work directly with the founder and engineering team on real features, not toy projects — from frontend to backend to the messy infrastructure in between. If you like moving fast, owning your work end to end, and figuring things out as you go, this is for you.
